Bklyn Commons is directly across the street from the Prospect Park Q train stop and a short walk from the B41 bus stop at the corner of Flatbush Avenue & Empire Blvd. 

If you’re joining us from out of town, there are a number of hotels in the Downtown Brooklyn area, which is about a 15-25 minute subway or bus ride to the venue.

at the southern edge of brooklyn towards jamaica bay is the marine park salt marsh nature trail, where josh visits in the springtime to see tiny crabs pop in and out of the sand. on rare occasion & accordance with the lunar cycle, you can see horseshoe crabs on a moonlit beach.

while you’re down by marine park, visit divan bakery for the best baklava you’ve had in your life.

extremely good & cheap dim sum at dim sum go go in chinatown.
